Enjoy a night of musical artistry as local and international talents perform at the 45th International Bamboo Organ Festival on February 21 to 26, 2020, at the St. Joseph Parish Church, Las Piñas City.
The International Bamboo Organ Festival is an annual musical and cultural event that is hailed as the country’s longest-running annual music festival since 1976.
This year’s festivities will start with a private gala performance of Choir and Early Music Instruments on February 20. These performances will be repeated on February 21 and 23.
On the night of February 22, audiences will be treated to a performance by the internationally recognizes Filipino pop group Acapellago. This performance is dubbed as “A Night of My Favorites”.
Festivities on the February 23 will start with a Festival Mass that features the Las Piñas Boys Choir, Armando Salarza as the Conductor, and Bernard Foccroulle on the organ and the InAlto Ensemble.
A repeat program of Choir & Early Music Instruments will also take place at 8 p.m.
Bernard Foccroulle will be the highlight of the performance on February 24 as he performs Spanish music from the 16th to 18th Century in an organ recital. InAlto will be joining him in his recital.
On February 26, a Memoriam to Dr. Johann Trummer will be held featuring the Las Piñas Boys Choir, Villancico Vocal Ensemble, Manila Baroque Ensemble, Stephanie Quintin (Soprano), Michelle Mariposa (Alto), Christian Tan (Violin), Armando Salarza (Organ), and Maestro Shangkuan-Cheng.

Organized by the Bamboo Organ Foundation Inc., the International Bamboo Organ Festival is a week-long festival that features and celebrates the beauty of music and the uniqueness of the bamboo organ.
